Adele will flex her performing muscles at the Grammys next month
Adele is a 10-time Grammy award winner but didn’t qualify for the 2016 nominations because she released her music after the required deadline.
She released her record-breaking album, 25, in November last year which followed shortly after her big comeback single, Hello.
The multi-award winning songstress features in the newly announced line-up that also includes The Weeknd and Little Big Town.
Despite Adele not appearing in the category line-up, the nominations are filled with exceptional talent at this year’s Grammys - dubbed the Oscars of the music world.
Lamar has been nominated in a staggering 11 categories putting him as the frontrunner but he faces stiff competition from Taylor Swift in the coveted best album category.
Swifty has been nominated for her 1989 album and will face off against Lamar’s offering, To Pimp A Butterfly.
Taylor has seven nominations and ties with Canadian singer The Weeknd on that number.
LL Cool J will host this year’s award ceremony in Los Angeles on February, 15.
