Michael Bublé admits he's a ''huge fan'' of Adele.

The Canadian singer has an on-going list of celebrity mates but clearly has an eye for talent after pointing out the award-winning singer would be a worldwide star before her debut album '19' even came out.

Michael said: ''I remember writing to her, saying, 'I can't wait for you to be the biggest singer in the world.' She wrote back very simple and sweet. I was really happy to see it happen for her- she has an incredible talent.''

The pair were emailing each other back and forth discussing a collaboration, but Michael claims the ''timing'' was all wrong.

He said: ''I am a huge fan of Adele. It's funny because we used to email each other and talk about doing something together before her debut album '19' came out, but the timing wasn't right.''

Michael has also grown close to the One Direction boys after mentoring them on the 'The X Factor' in 2010 and hopes they manage to keep their feet on the ground following their vast growing fame.

He added to Closer magazine: ''They're really nice kids and it seems that even with all this craziness that's surrounded them they've somehow managed to stay really normal and fun. It's absolutely nuts, but I think they have good parents.''
