Alpha Beta Gaga

Air release ‘Alpha Beta Gaga’ with Mark Ronson remixes on the single to make for an interesting collaboration. Cool cat Mark Ronson has propelled to fame recently and is an excellent producer. The original ‘Alpha Beta Gaga’ single featured on their recent album ‘Talkie Walkie’ has been beefed up by Ronson, hitting harder on the beats and giving the single a bit of funk. It’s dancier and less complicated. Rhymefest features raps on one version that is well done but is truly surprising to think someone could rap to Air. We have Mark Ronson to thank for that.

Air - Alpha Beta Gaga - Single Review

Air create light yet absorbing music that is mind provoking. ‘Alpha Beta Gaga’ (original version) feels quite heavy bizarrely enough. The song gains a bigger sound as it continues making for quite a complicated composition. The song starts off with a nice beat and has good guitar sound that stays throughout the song. There are a lot of bleeps and subliminal sounds that make Air unique, progressive and original. It should appeal to their fans and people who like this kind of ambient progressive music. However the Mark Ronson version should appeal to a whole lot more people. Clever.
