Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has become a first-time mother after giving birth to a baby girl.
The 38-year-old actress, who is married to Abhishek Bachchan, son of veteran Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan, welcomed a daughter at a hospital in Mumbai, India last Wednesday (09Nov11).
The news was announced by the baby's famous grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan, in a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, " I am dada (grandfather) to the cutest baby girl!... Ecstatic!"
Amitabh is already grandfather to his daughter Shweta Nanda's two children.
