Alan Cumming's first day of stage rehearsals for his one-man version of William Shakespeare's Macbeth got off to a shaky start - the actor cut himself on a prop.
The X2 star is preparing for the show's debut at The National Theatre of Scotland next month (Jun12) and he began work on the project on Tuesday (08May12).
But clumsy Cumming was left nursing an odd injury just hours into his first day.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "First MACbeth injury! Cut my finger on a toy robot I was using to represent Lady MACbeth in a little theatre game. Blood will have blood."
