Veteran British Actress Dame Joan Collins Was Inducted To The Legendary Friars' Club In New York City On Monday (04may15).
The Dynasty star joined the comedy institution in a ceremony at the fabled Manhattan club which was hosted by veteran comedian Jerry Lewis, and she made the crowd laugh with a self-deprecating speech.
Collins told the audience, "I have been a babe, I have been a b**h, I have been an old broad. Now I'm a dame and, most wonderful, I have now been made a friar."
She documented the night in a series of posts on Instagram.com, uploading a picture showing her posing with host Lewis and guest Alan Cumming and adding in a caption, "With the iconic Jerry Lewis, who hosted my Friars Club induction and the talented @alancumming. Thank you @friarsclub for a great night! (sic)"
