Alec Baldwin Heckled By Alleged Stalker In Court

Today Alec Baldwin took the stand to testify against an alleged stalker. Unfortunately for the controversial former 30 Rock actor, even the court visit didn’t go as smoothly as it should have. During his testimony, Baldwin was heckled by the very woman he was speaking against – Gabrielle Sabourin, a French Canadian actress, whom Baldwin admitted to having spoken several times prior to the events of the case. Sabourin is charged with 23 counts of harrassment and one count of stalking.

Baldwin had his patience tested, when he was heckled during his testimony.

“Wow, you’re lying,” Genevieve Sabourin reportedly screamed at Baldwin, according to the New York Daily News. “I can’t believe you’re doing that!”

This was in response to Baldwin denying her claim that the two had had an affair. In an effort to prove her point, Sabourin pointed to her hip and called out: “You have a scar!” apparently claiming that she had personally seen the scar. Eventually the disruption caused the judge to threaten to hold Labourin in contempt. Apparently it didn’t come to that, as her lawyer, Todd Spodek escorted her out of the courtroom.

Sabourin accused Baldwin of denying an affair with her.

According to Baldwin himself, Sabourin harassed him and his family for a month, sending 100 creepy emails and texts begging him to marry her and “conceive a mini Baldwin.” According to Baldwin, the trouble began more than a decade ago, in 2002 when he had lunch with her and Bregman in Montreal. Then, in 2010, the actor allegedly agreed to have dinner with the aspiring actress as a favor for a friend, in order to give Sabourin career advice. “It was merely a favor to the man she was the mistress of,” he said. “She was Marty's girlfriend.”

Apparently the tense court proceedings got to the actor in the end. After exiting the courtroom, he was accosted by a group of photographers and, when spotting a man he recognised, the actor snapped: “I hope you choke to death,” he reportedly said before leaving.

Sabourin even involved Baldwin's wife, Hilaria, in her claims.
