Alesso turns his attention from Katy Perry to Zara Larsson as they hook up to deliver their collaborative new track - 'Words'. After joining forces with 'Roar' singer Perry on their single 'When I'm Gone' Swedish DJ and Producer Alesso has teamed up with fellow Swede Larsson to produce 'Words'.
'Never Forget You' artist Larsson last released a new single back in July of last year when she shared 'I Need Love', featuring Trevor Daniel, from her second album - 'Poster Girl'. Since then, aside from a re-release, 'retro', version of her best known track - 'Lush Life', the 'Talang' talent show winner has been keeping a pretty low profile.
Larsson took to Instagram to introduce her new track heading it up as "When two Swedes collide, 'Words', out 22nd April" complete with a photo of her on set with Alesso. As the new track and video premiered Larsson followed up with a post that simply read - "I got the words “I love you” sitting on the tip of my tongue".
'Words' is Alesso's third single of the year and follows on from his solo March 1st release - 'Dark', and his March 25th single, with 'All I Wanna Do' artists Sentinel, - 'Only You'.
The Jason Lester (Animal Collective/Ashe/Jack White/Madison Beer) directed video sees Zara singing among statues of fallen Greek Gods. Dressed in a figure hugging gold lame outfit with matching gold jewellery Larsson owns the screen as she sings - "I got the words, I love you, Sitting on the tip of my tongue, at your house again, are we more than friends, there’s so much that I wanna say, but I gotta hold it back, so scared how you’ll react, I just hide it all away".
