Alex Turner insists he's in ''no hurry'' to start writing a new Arctic Monkeys album.
The frontman, who has had huge success with the band's 2013 record 'AM', claims he still has ''a lot of sh*t to do'' with touring the world and promoting the album and he hasn't got time to start recording new material for their sixth release.
Speaking after the band's two huge shows at London's Finsbury Park last month, he told NME magazine: ''I've written a few things, but I'm not in a hurry.
''We're going to keep going [with touring] until the summer and beyond that a little bit, maybe. I don't know. I wouldn't think it'll be too soon that we do the next one.''
The 28-year-old singer singer also believes the band's reluctance to get back into the recording studio is making them more successful in the US.
He said: ''It's been going really well in America and there's still lots of shit still to do on this album.
''I don't feel, for once, that we need to rush and get on to the next thing. It seems like a good place to leave it for a minute.''
The 'Are You Mine?' band - also made up of Matt Helders, Jamie Cook and Nick O'Malley, will headline Reading and Leeds Festivals in August as well as T In The Park this summer.
