When 03.10.2012

The lead singer of the British band Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner stands with his parents outside the Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica, LA as they wait for their car to turn up. One man who appears to be a friend or assistant of some sort for Alex comes over to give something to him, which Alex then tucks into his shirt pocket as the man hurries off.

The indie rocker recently told NME of his respect for the late popstar John Lennon. 'I remember when I first started writing songs and writing lyrics, I really wanted to be able to write an 'I Am The Walrus' type song', he explained. 'And I found it very difficult. It sounds like it's all nonsense, but it's really difficult to write that sort of thing.'
