Well, first of all, let’s talk about Eric for a moment, because who doesn’t love a bit of Eric? He and Pam finally arrived at Sarah Newman’s house after she had been seeing visions of Jason Stackhouse as the Grim Reaper (yes, this plot requires some major dedication). But instead of killing Sarah, a sick, sick Eric fed from her instead, curing his Hep V almost instantly. Yay Eric… maybe. He’s still a Level 100 creep, tbh.

At this point in True Blood history, the show has done pretty much every TV cliché, and the plot has gone out the window some time ago. Last night, however, True Blood dared venture where it has scarcely ventured before – the same-sex hookup. Well, sort of. Spoilers ahead – big ones.

Ana Paquin is pretty great, but the writers need more to keep viewers interested.

When the episode started with a shot of Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) fans knew something was off. After all, the last time we saw Eric, he was being incinerated by the Arctic sunrise (longtime fans are great at suspending disbelief.)

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie appears to be in turmoil. With now just 17 days until the first day of filming in Vancouver, the project - headed by Sam Taylor-Johnson - is without a leading man after Charlie Hunnam dropped out, citing a packed schedule.

Of course, Hunnam and his agent will have known his commitments to Sons of Anarchy when initially taking the part, therefore reports the actor got cold feet are probably not too far off the mark.

Hunnam was set to play the young, rich businessman Christian Grey in the big screen adaptation of E.L. James 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' which will undoubtedly contain the explicit sex scenes featured in the controversial novel.

Charlie Hunnam is out! The actor sensationally left behind his role as Christian Grey in the upcoming FiftyShades of Grey movie adaptation following varied reports stating his schedule was too packed up already and that he had gotten cold feet over the immense pressure of the role. Now the race is one to find another Christian Grey and the shortlist of potential candidates seems to keep on growing.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alexander Skarsgard is among the favorites to succeed Hunnam, with his steamy scenes in True Blood and his obvious sex appeal boding well with producers. The same report also states that Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan is also in line to take on the job, however neither of these rumors have been confirmed yet. THR have also reported that Oscar-nominated screenwriter Patrick Marber (Notes on a Scandal) has been brought in to adjust the script to accomodate another actor.

Taylor Swift has accepted a role on the upcoming movie version of The Giver, the popular 'utopian future' novel by author Lois Lowry. The film, a joint production between The Weinstein Company and Walden Media, already has an impressive cast lined up, including Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Brenton Thwaites, Alexander Skarsgard and Katie Holmes, with Swift joining the film in an unspecified role.

Lowry's novel tells the story of a utopian society that gradually appears more dystopian as the story progresses, and is told through perspective of nearly-12-year-old Jonas (Thwaites). In the immaculately organised future, people are assigned positions that they will hold on to for the rest of their loves, and Jonas is to be given the distinction of Receiver of Memory; the man responsible for holding all knowledge of the pre-determined present. Upon meeting the previous 'Receiver,' known as The Giver, he is presented with a wealth of knowledge and with it, a moral dilema of whether to remain with his current society, or escape with his newfound information and live freely for the first time.

Prince Harry took his Antarctic mission training to the next level last night (17 Sept.) as he endured a night of freezing temperatures and fast winds, similar to the ones he will soon me facing on a daily basis, by spending the night in a freezer. The prince and his crew of wounded former-servicemen from across the Commonwealth climbed into the industrial freezer space in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, in order to acclimatise themselves for the harsh Antarctic weather.

Both Harry and Swedish-born Alexander, who will be racing against the Prince and his Commonwealth teammates as part of a crew representing the US, will race for 200 miles through one of the harshest environments on Earth and used the facility, which normally tests the durability of vehicles, to test themselves. According to the BBC, they were subjected to temperatures of -35C and wind speeds of 45 mph in the Nuneaton testing centre, as they prepared themselves for conditions that could be much worse when they are down in the icy tundra.

You may have thought we were going to report on Prince Harry getting home from a night out in an exotic location and bedding down in a fridge to cool off, but fear not, it's not another one of the royal's famous stunts - well, it is sort of.

The 29-year-old is set to race with a team of injured British servicemen and women against the United States and Commonwealth groups in November - though this is no ordinary race. In temperatures of minus 35C with wind speeds of 45mphs, the teams will trek across the South Pole this winter.

Patron of the Walking With The Wounded charity, Harry spent the night in a giant freezer this week to prepare for the gruelling conditions in Antarctica.

True Blood will finish in 2014. The show has just finished its sixth season and there will be one more before the HBO series will come to a final halt. The announcement was made on Tuesday (3rd September) by HBO's President of Programming Michael Lombardo. He said "Together with its legions of fans, it will be hard to say goodbye to the residents of Bon Temps, but I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show."

The show follows the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress from Bon Temps, Louisiana who is pitted against - in romance and otherwise - vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, fairies and an assortment of other supernatural creatures. True Blood has catapulted a number of actors into the limelight and has even forged a marriage during its five year run. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who play Sookie and her main love interest Bill, met on the show and married in 2010. Other stars of the show include Alexander Skarsgard, Rutina Wesley, Ryan Kwanten, Nelson Ellis and Joe Manganiello.

So Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Warlow (Rob Kazinsky) were finally set to get married but, as we all know, events in Bon Temps rarely stick to plan and this one went particularly awry. Sookie suddenly decides that she doesn't want to be Warlow's faerie-vampire bride and he suddenly drops his nice-guy façade to show what's been lurking underneath the whole time by tying her up and threatening her. Bill (Stephen Moyer), Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and Andy (Chris Bauer) cross over to the fairy plane and rescue to reluctant bride from her decidedly evil fiancé. Their fight culminates in Warlow getting staked through the chest.

Star of Juno and Hard Candy, Ellen Page has been being harassed by a crazed stalker, but has won out after a judge finally ordered the man stay away from Page and not contact her in any way for the following three years. 

As TMZ reported: "According to the LAPD, the threats also coincided with a creepy telephone call received by the non-profit that organizes the LA Film Festival, where Ellen's... movie To Rome with Love premiered on June 14th. The LAPD claims the caller promised to go to the festival and 'kill Page.'"

The fan also used Twitter to contact and harass her, sending tweets such as: "I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead." And "Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander [Skarsgard] I will K-1-L-L you in public in then ext year . Be it in a club, in a restaurant, or when you're signing autographs." The tweets have been removed since, reports Inquisitr.
