Alfonso Ribeiro is joining the judging panel of 'Dancing With the Stars'.

The 44-year-old actor, who took home the Mirrorball trophy after competing on the US reality TV series last year, is excited to be returning to the show as a guest judge next Monday (28.09.15).

The 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' star, who will participate during TV Week, where each couple will pay homage to iconic shows, told PEOPLE.com: ''Guest judging on 'Dancing With the Stars' is like returning home for me but with the big twist of being on the other side of the judge's table, which is both a relief and exciting.''

The former champion also wrote on Twitter: ''So excited to be going back to @DancingABC next week to be the 1st guest judge on season 21.''

Alfonso's wife Angela Unkrich gave birth to their second child, Anders Reyn, in April and he previously admitted they might have more children in the future.

When asked if he wanted any more kids, the actor, who has two-year-old son Alfonso Jr. with Angela and daughter Sienna, 12, from a previous relationship, said: ''I [also] have a daughter that's 12, but we'll see what we're going to do after this. I know this one over here would love to keep going.''
