This week on ‘DWTS’ the costumes got even stranger and Len Goodman returned to give us all a Halloween fright.
It was Week 7 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on Monday (October 27th) and Halloween was in the air, as the remaining 10 couples delivered some spookily themed routines.
Dancing with the Stars' Alfonso Ribeiro
But the first talking point was the return of Len Goodman, who was as razor tongued as ever after a three week absence. The judge, who actually knows a thing or do about dancing (unlike some of his stand ins) didn't hold back at all with his sometimes harsh, technical criticism.
Speaking of the judges, during his critique of Lea Thompson’s Argentine tango, Bruno seemed to get a little carried away playing with Julianne, causing him to fall out of his chair and make the evening's first memorable moment.
But on to the dancing, ‘Duck Dynasty’ star Sadie Robertson continued to come out of her family’s shadow as this week she served up a scare with her ‘Paso doble’. In perhaps the night’s best costume, she and partner Mark Ballas danced until the 17 year old was eaten by zombies.
Then there was Alfonso Ribeiro, who after his rumba gave us all an ‘aww’ moment when he announced he and his wife were expecting their second child.
But the big finale came when the contestants were split into two groups with Team Itsy Bitsy (led by Bethany) dancing an impressive freestyle that led to each contestant being deemed safe. Then Alfonso’s Team Creepy danced to the Rocky Horror Picture Show’s 'Time War'p earning 8 scores across the board.
The bottom two was made up of Antonio Sabato Jr. and Tommy Chong, with the former 'General Hosptia'l star and partner Cheryl Burke eventually getting the axe, after their less than impressive Viennese Waltz.
On to next week where the theme is ‘dynamic duos’ which Tom Bergeron informed us, meant, ”Romeo and Juliet, Bonnie and Clyde, Batman and Robin [and] Adam and Eve.” We cant wait!
