Pregnant Ali Larter is convinced she will never live out her dream of having a natural childbirth because she can't cope with the pain.
The Heroes star is expecting her second child and admits she considered a hypno-birth when she was pregnant with her firstborn, Teddy, but quickly realised the idea wasn't for her during a chat with her dad.
The Varsity Blues actress explains, "We spent all the pregnancy doing hypno-birthing... you, like, talk to the baby and listen to bells chiming... I was into it.
"I have a very low tolerance for pain and I didn't remember that and my dad reminded me that when I was 13, I got my ears pierced and I only got one done because I couldn't handle the pain. It was ridiculous.
"I wasted a year of my life (preparing for a hypno-birth). Natural childbirth is not happening in this lifetime for me."
