Taken from the unofficial name of the celebrity group who used to hang out after hours at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in Los Angeles in the 1970s, the Hollywood Vampires formed last year (14) and started working on a series of covers, including a new rendition of Cooper's School's Out.

The group's first album, which features guest spots from Sir Paul MCCartney, Dave Grohl and the late Christopher Lee, will be released on 9 September (15) and now Cooper and his cohorts have announced a two-night stint at the Roxy in Los Angeles to kickstart a tour a week later (16-17Sep15).

The supergroup will also perform at the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil on 24 September (15).
