Review of Amadou & Mariam's single 'Ce N'est Pas Bon' featuring Damon Albarn.

I was over the moon to receive the latest Amadou & Mariam single 'Ce N'est Pas Bon' having seen this amazing duo on Jools Holland last year. They released 'Welcome To Mali' last November to much critical acclaim and have teamed up with Damon Albarn on this latest single playing on the keyboard. It's no surprise why as 'Ce N'est Pas Bon' is as fresh, soulful and emotive as any funk or soul track.
World music in our modern time of internet doesn't sound so alien anymore, in fact it sounds totally cutting edge and heavy with a real uplifting vibe. This is a great track from a talented duo and a great collaboration from a progressive thinker. Sweet!
