The problems keep piling up for the Bynes.

By now it’s widely known that the Bynes’ have filed for a conservatorship, in order to gain legal access into Amanda’s affairs and to be able to curb their daughter’s downward spiral somewhat. TMZ has revealed some of the contents of the legal documents that Bynes’ parents filed – and they sound disturbing to say the least. The statements claim that the retired actress has become "extremely paranoid about being watched," and she covers smoke alarms with towels and tapes windows shut to prevent cameras from shooting her.

Her parents' testimonies seem to shed some more light on the matter.

That doesn’t sound good all by itself, but the document goes on. The parents are concerned about Amanda’s uncontrollable spending. According to them, the troubled star had $4 million in her bank account, but she has spent a large part of it – close to $1.2 million – in an alarmingly short amount of time. Amanda withdrew $100k on June 4 and another $100k on July 2 and the parents have no idea where the money went, however they assume that she spent a large amount of it on drugs. In the documents, they also reportedly describe Bynes’ profound problems with body image and her obsession with "the fact that she (and others) are ugly."

Amanda is currently under extended psychiatric hold and is awaiting diagnosis. It is unknown whether this new information from her loved ones will aid the doctors in their final decision.
