Amanda Seyfried will be covering her father's eyes from seeing the naked scenes in her new film 'Lovelace'.

The 27-year-old actress stars as porn star Linda Lovelace - real name Linda Boreman - in the autobiographical film which depicts

the performer's rise to fame in the adult movie 'Deep Throat' and the abuse she suffered at the hands of her controlling husband Chuck Traynor.

The film contains several scenes where Amanda is naked and she is going to watch it with her dad Jack so she can warn him when her flesh is about to be flashed on screen.

Speaking on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' last night (30.07.13), she said: ''My dad is about to see it and he's super supportive about it, he's actually amazing.

''I'm sitting through it with him because I've seen it enough, but I'll shield him from the boobs. It's really just about him not seeing me naked!''

The 'Les Miserables' star admits she has been deeply moved by Linda's tragic story and she hopes the film - which is based on Linda's autobiographies - tells her story accurately.

Amanda explained: ''It was pretty depressing actually ... She had a really incredible story that we didn't really know so we kind of projected our own idea of her.''

The blonde starlet became a global name after landing the lead role in 'Mamma Mia!' - the film version of the hit ABBA musical of the same name - and she compares her meteoric ascent to stardom to the fame Linda achieved because of the 1972 film.

Amanda said: ''It's insane. I compare it to 'Mamma Mia!', a film that I did that also made over $600 million and it's just like what? I at least benefited from that. She got nothing, she got screwed.''
