Snowblink - Long Live Album Review

Album review of Long Live by Snowblink.

Long Live is the title of Snowblink's second album and it's simple beautiful, vocalist Daniela Gesundheit's voice is comparatively close to Tanya Donnelly and it complements the elegant backing vocals complement the over all feel of the album wonderfully.

Vocals and lyrics seem to be paramount on this album lyrics like ‘one little tremor, as tender as a frost thawing into pond’ fit perfectly in the quaint style of the song. Songs like ‘The Tired Bees’ there’s a definite feel of art, it’s musically perfect, it gently bounces and skips directly to your heart strings. Long Live is a very earthy album and it’s a treasure to be found.
