Carl Cox releases ‘Give Me Your Love’ on 23 rd Century Records from his eagerly awaited third album ‘The Second Sign’. Carl Cox is a legendary figure in the dance music scene having had an illustrious career for the past thirty years. Known as a DJ and producer most know Carl Cox through the techno scene so it may come as quite a surprise to hear ‘Give Me Your Love’ being a house track with uplifting vocals, soulful bongo licks and purring synths. here, it’s a brilliant arrangement of music to create a deep house anthem that is uplifting and hypnotic. For me this is house music at its best as there’s soul here plus a definite build up that makes for an engrossing experience rather than a cheesy, ‘blow your whistle’ effect. There’s no denying that Cox is a master craftsman when listening to this track. The fact that he has made a track different from his usual techno style and produced a classic piece of work is all credit to the big man.
