Freeform Five - ‘Eeeeaaooww’ feat Bounty Killer - Audio Tracks

‘Eeeeaaooww’ feat Bounty Killer
Ultimate Dilemma/East West
October 18th 2004

Freeform Five return after the massive dancefloor success of ‘Strangest Things’ with a new version of their classic & much sought after track ‘Eeeeaaooww’ on October 18th on Ultimate Dilemma, and this time it features a guest vocal appearance from Jamaican Dancehall legend Bounty Killer. ‘Eeeeaaooww’ was released as a 500 only vinyl 12” late last year and has been a staple of discerning DJs sets ever since.

This new version of ‘Eeeeaaoow’ is taken from their long awaited debut album ‘Strangest Things’ released on October 25th, that sees the four piece take on the familiar territory of the dance floor, plus fuck with the stereotypical album dynamic in producing some of the catchiest numbers you’ll hear all summer; brooding pensive & melancholy, plus a potential pop smash or two thrown in for good measure, without ever sounding muddled or schizophrenic… And all this from an act that was previously more known for reworking other people’s music in the form of massively acclaimed remixes (Nerd-Lapdance, Elton – Are

You Ready…, Felix Da Housecat- Rocket Ride, Annie- The Greatest Hit, Xpress 2 – Lazy to name but a few)…Freeform Five have made an album that will finally pull them into the spotlight they deserve.

The single is backed by mixes courtesy of Radioslave,Stanton Warriors, plus a very special Jamaican version by Vybz Kartel on the "Tunda Klap" riddim, all of which look set to ride roughshod over clubland over the coming months.

Proving that there is much more to Freeform Five, than plain studio trickery, they took their live show out on the road for the first time ever during the Summer. Beginning at the TDK Cross Central Festival in King’s Cross on the August Bank holiday they continued throughout September on tour with Mylo, plus a few solo shows to boot.

"London's Freeform Five, aren't far behind. Like Har Mar, Scissor Sisters, Captain Comatose etc, FF write proper songs but also go clubbing and in the process create a new cosmopolitan sound.”- NME, June 2004
