Coco Chanel was one of the pioneering women who empowered women all over the world with her new clothing designs, out with the traditional corsets and in with radical styles and new materials.

Before Coco became famous, her life was very different. She was an orphan with an enormous amount of drive. Coco Before Chanel looks at Coco's life before she became famous and shows what made the woman behind the designs. Loosely based on the book L'irrégulière (Chanel and Her World: Friends, Fashion, and Fame).
