Then She Found Me is an adaptation of Elinor Lipman's novel. Directed and starring Helen Hunt, the story follows April, a school teacher who's coming to terms with her recent break-up from her husband and recent loss of her adopted mother.

April finds solace in one of her students played by Colin Firth and her birth mother - Bernice Graves, a local tv talk show host - also gets in contact and the unlikely mother and daughter duo become friends.
