Being a thin dweeby teenager isn't a desirable feature for any kid to have on the Island Of Berk, they breed big strong Viking men who make their way in life by fighting dragons! The head of the tribe is called Stoick and his son, Hiccup, hasn't exactly developed the frame of his father. Though Hiccup doesn't look like a dragon slayer, he wants nothing more than to impress his father. When he's enrolled in dragon training with some other kids, Hiccup is last in the class and one day comes across a dragon that walks straight up to him, thinking he's bound of a fiery death however this dragon isn't interested in hunting and killing Hiccup but it looks like he wants to make friends! Realising the errors of his tribe, Hiccup finds a new way to communicate and train his new friend, but how will his father and the rest of the tribe feel about it?
