Steven Russell is a stand-up member of society, the perfect husband and father, he's great at his job as a member of the police force and he's a regular attendee at his local church but all that changes when he's almost killed in a bad car crash. Steven is hit with an epiphany, he's gay! Deep down he's always known but now it's time to live life the way he ought to be living. Steven changes his lifestyle completely, leaving his wife to start again.

Lavish is the way forward, it's his new style but his bank balance doesn't quite meet the requirements of his new spending habits. Facing a life in the red, Steven takes drastic measures to keep up his way of living; he becomes a con man, taking every opportunity possible to make a buck. His life is great until the law catches up with him. Steven is sent to prison and things are looking pretty bleak until he meets the new love of his life Phillip Morris, his new cellmate. When Phillip is put on early parole, Steven plans to break out of jail - which he successfully does. Steven is determined to build the ideal life for him and Phillip even if that means making some almost impossible cons!
