Death often brings a family together and this story is no exception. Aaron and his partner Michelle are finding it hard enough having to live with Aarons folks whilst they get their lives in order. When the death of Aaron's father happens, the whole family is sent into turmoil. A funeral is arranged and Aaron's brother Ryan returns home from LA where he lives and works as a successful writer.

Even though Aaron is short on money, his brother - despite having a steady career insists he's broke. When the funeral organisers arrive with their father, things start off as badly as they ever could do, they bring the wrong body. As the day continues, more family members arrive and you know things are at the brink of chaos. Mistaken drugs, allegations of homosexual tendencies, crazy uncles and little people all make this one day the family are sure never to forget.

This is a re-make of the 2007 British film directed by Frank Oz.
