Following on from the cinematic success of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the first in Stieg Larsson's trilogy of Millennium novels comes a cinematic adaptation of the second book The Girl Who Played With Fire.

The new movie sees Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) and intrepid journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) reunited, following Blomkvists prison sentence, and this time the pair is caught up in a brutal murder investigation in Millennium which may expose a billion dollar sex trafficking ring.

Two researchers have been murdered and secretive hacker Lisbeth Salander is being framed for the crimes. Journalist Mikael Blomkvist wants to find the truth and to do this he needs to find Salander.

The Girl Who Played With Fire will be in Cinemas on August 27th 2010.

Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Nyqvist, Lena Endre and Peter Andersson.
