Rocky meets Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting in the adrenaline pumped 'Warrior'.

Lionsgate Pictures have brought together BAFTA Award winning actor Tom Hardy, double Oscar nominee Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton in 'Warrior' set for general cinematic release in September 2011. Two brothers will go head to head in a bout where everything is at stake.

Brendan (Edgerton) is a teacher with financial problems. Brendan's financial woes put pressure on his young family and lead him towards the dangerous and violent world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting, a world already frequented by his ex-Marine brother Tommy Riordan (Hardy).

Brendan's unexpected rise as the underdog sets him on a direct course to meet Tommy in the ultimate competition an MMA tournament where the winner can take the biggest purse in the history of the sport. Two estranged brothers are set to lock in a winner-takes-all battle for their lives.
