While the Emperor penguins of Antarctica find their mate by singing their 'heartsong', Mumble is different. Instead of singing, he has a talent for tap-dancing and it was this that won the affections of his old friend Gloria. His unique gift also helped ban overfishing in Antarctica which saved the fish population from extinction.

Mumble and Gloria now have a son, Erik, who has a problem: while Mumble wants Erik to follow in his footsteps and become a tap-dancer, Erik would rather do anything but. So the tiny penguin runs away and meets The Mighty Sven, whose talent surpasses those of Mumble, Gloria and the other penguins back home - The Mighty Sven is a truly remarkable penguin who can fly!

But there are new threats to the penguin world and it's up to Mumble and his friends to join forces with the penguin nations in order to make things right.

Gloria was originally voiced by the late Brittany Murphy, but now sees Alecia Moore (Pink) voice the character.
