Vince Ferro is badly in need of money to support his family. His only source of income comes from working low paying construction jobs. One day, Vince overhears a conversation about a recently deceased man, who was about to start a well paid job around the time of his accident. The company the man was about to start working for have apparently not heard the tragic news.

Vince, sensing an opportunity, decides to pose as the dead man so he can start providing his family with a better life. Seeing an envelope with enclosed job instructions, he steals it and begins preparing for his new job.

But when Vince arrives on his first day of work, under his new identity as the recently deceased man, he realises very quickly that his new job isn't quite what he was expecting. All it requires him to do is take part in a series of high stake Russian roulette games, alongside twelve other players, while rich spectators place bets on who will survive. With the odds stacked against him, Vince just needs to survive in order to earn the money but that is easier said than done.
