Anne Hathaway arrived for her appearance on The Daily Show With John Stewart last night with a surprise new look. She shed her usual girlie image and paired some figure-hugging flares with a tailored white jacket and cool Elvis t-shirt, and some eye-catching over-sized Perspex shades.

Hathaway is currently starring in One Day, a romantic movie based on David Nichols' best-selling novel, which opens this week. The film has received mixed reviews, with the New York Daily News callinh it a 'stilted rom-com'.
