Video - Amanda Knox Escorted Out Of Court After Hearing Verdict

Amanda Knox heard yesterday at the court in Perugia, Italy, that her 2007 murder conviction of former roommate Meredith Kercher has been overturned. As the judge announces the verdict, Amanda is immediately comforted by the people next to her. The courtroom applauds as Amanda is hugged by her family. The police then escort her out of the building.

Amanda's former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollectio, was also found not guilty after the appeal and he, too, is seen being escorted from the courtroom. Earlier in the day, both had made emotional appeals to have their conviction overturned
