My Week With Marilyn - Trailer

Colin Clark is an aspiring film maker and his first job upon leaving university is the role of assistant on a new film, called The Prince and The Showgirl. It stars a young Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe, the blonde bombshell who shocks with her implications that she sleeps in the nude.

While filming, Marilyn is also on honeymoon with her new husband, the playwright Arthur Miller. Colin sees that she is becoming stressed, due to pressures of work and the life that Hollywood has given her. When Arthur leaves Marilyn and heads to Paris, Colin jumps at the opportunity to show Marilyn a relaxing life in the British countryside.

Colin and Marilyn soon become friends and Colin falls under her spell. Despite warnings from friends and family about Marilyn's reputation as a heartbreaker, he ignores them and attempts to pursue a relationship with the actress. And although Marilyn is enchanted by the English countryside and the quiet life she finds, she is unable to leave her Hollywood life behind.
