Angelique is a highly emotional person; so much so that she goes to meetings, known as Romantics Anonymous, to talk to other people like herself. Angelique is also a master chocolatiere, who is pursuing a job offer to work in a small chocolate manufacturing business, which is run by Jean-Rene.

Jean-Rene is also a highly emotional person; he is also terrified of spending time alone with a woman. So when Angelique arrives for a job interview, he conducts it in front of his other employees and asks her just one question: 'Do you like chocolate?'

Needless to say, Angelique gets the job and begins to fall for her new boss, who is doing the same. Unfortunately, Jean-Rene can barely pluck up the courage to talk to Angelique, let alone hold her hand. Despite this, Angelique is convinced that their relationship will never work as they are both highly emotional people. So to prove her wrong, Jean-Rene invites her on a romantic getaway which will make or break their relationship.

Romantics Anonymous is a French film directed by Jean-Pierre Ameris and stars Benoit Poelvoorde, who is well known for his role in the biopic Coco Before Chanel.
