Angelina Jolie Reveals Kids Eat Crickets 'Like Doritos'

Angelina Jolie has revealed two of her sons like eating insects.

The 'Kung Fu Panda 2' star - who raises Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with partner Brad Pitt - explained her kids Maddox, nine, and Pax, seven, enjoy tucking in to the insects "like Doritos", which are a brand of tortilla chips, so much so she had to "ban" them from eating the bugs for fear of them becoming ill.

She told E!: "It's their favourite thing. They ate them like Doritos, and they wouldn't stop. They are like a potato chips.

"I had to actually ban the cricket eating at a certain point because I was afraid they were going to get sick from eating too many!"

The 36-year-old actress admitted last year that she has eaten cockroaches before, but isn't too keen on all the Cambodian delicacies.

She added: "I have yet to have the tarantulas on a stick or spider soup here. I don't know if I can get around the fur, but you gotta try everything."
