Immortals follows the epic tale of a blood-thirsty King, Hyperion as his brutal and murderous army travel throughout Greece, destroying everything in their path with a ruthless efficiency. As a string of villages fall to Hyperion's power, the powerful King moves closer to his ultimate goal: to unleash the power of the imprisoned Titans in order that they may triumph over the Gods of Olympus along with the rest of the human race.

The King's campaign appears unstoppable, until the stonemason Theseus swears that he will avenge his mother's death after she is killed in one of Hyperion's vicious raids. Theseus then meets Phaedra (the Sibylline Oracle) and her troublesome visions of Theseus' future convince her that he is the key to ending Hyperion's reign. The story culminates with Theseus and Phaedra assembling a small army of followers, in order that he may embrace his destiny and battle to save the future of humankind.

Immortals is a stylish 3-D action adventure, from the visionary director Tarsem Singh. The film - a combination of classical Greek myths and modern 3D technology - is produced by Gianni Nunnari and Mark Canton - both notable for their work on the film adaptation of Frank Miller's 300. The production duo are also joined by Ryan Kavanaugh, who worked as a producer on the Oscar-winning 2010 film The Fighter. The director of photography is Brendan Galvin, who has previously worked on action titles such as Flight of the Phoenix and Behind Enemy Lines.
