George and Linda are the ultimate urban couple. Living in New York, they both lead hectic lifestyles and are used to running into the bonnet of a taxi on a regular basis (don't worry, they always walk away unscathed). One disadvantage of their fast paced jobs is their tiredness in the evenings. Whenever George and Linda plan on having sex, they find themselves falling asleep on each other.

Then one day, disaster strikes. Linda comes home to find George still at home. He's been fired from his job and as a result, they can't afford their house in New York anymore. Seeing no other alternative, they travel to Atlanta to live with George's uncouth and awful brother. After only a couple of days, George and Linda can't take any more of the former's brother, particularly his come ons to Linda - in front of his wife! They pack their bags and hit the road again.

While looking for somewhere, anywhere, to stay, they come across a bed and breakfast called Elysium. To their horror, they find that the B&B is a front for a hippie community. George and Linda are desperate, though, so they agree to stay there for two weeks, maximum.

Gradually, they come to accept a different way of life - the hippies frequently wander around naked and engage in free, open sex. George and Linda never thought they would feel at home in such an environment but they do. Could they start a new life at Elysium, or will it cause more problems than it solves?
