Tinie Tempah Planning Adele Duet
Tinie Tempah wants to record with Adele this year.
The 'Pass Out' hitmaker has been discussing a collaboration with the singer - who was hit by a string of vocal cord problems last year that led to the cancellation of many tour dates - for some time and is determined to make it happen in the coming months.
He said: "I want to record with Adele this year. We started to talk about it, but because of how crazy things went for her we never really got round to completing that conversation."
As well as working with Adele, Tinie is hoping to make some progress in his quest to crack America, but knows it will take a lot of time and won't be easy.
He said: "You don't go over there in one wave, then it's all done and dusted. I'm not going to say, 'Oh yeah, by the end of the year America must be broken. I'll just keep chipping away and see what happens."
The rapper is also hoping to build on his successes in the UK and take his music globally.
He told Q magazine: "The main goal is to get the new album out and it do really well - better than the last one. This time going triple platinum. And do a world tour."
