De Laurentiis Cooks Up Golden Globes Feast
Top chef Giada De Laurentiis will serve up chilled cauliflower soup, chicken meatballs, beef crostini with curry mayonnaise and her Brownie Budino & Almond Cake with amaretto whipped cream for the stars after the Golden Globes on Sunday night (15Jan12).
Overseeing her first awards show dinner, the kitchen queen, who famously cooked for Prince William and his new bride during their visit to Los Angeles last year (11), will be on double duty creating the menus for the InStyle Viewing Dinner and the Warner Brothers' post-Globes party.
Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Michelle Williams and Kate Winslet are expected to sample De Laurentiis' culinary treats, according to People.com.
She has teamed up with Beverly Hilton Hotel executive chef Suki Sugiura and executive pastry chef Thomas Henzi for the task of cooking enough food for over 1,300 guests.
Other treats on the menu include mini eggplant parmesan, sauteed shrimp cocktail, a Brussels sprout Leaf Salad and spinach ricotta ravioli.
