The world takes another positive step towards transgender rights as Cosmopolitan South Africa unveils their first trans cover star for their February 2018 edition: Laverne Cox. She teams up with the magazine to promote important issues with the LGBTQI+ community in a groundbreaking mag campaign.

It's possibly one of the most iconic cult films in cinema history, with Tim Curry having successfully forced viewers of all genders to seriously question their sexuality. It doesn't look like that legacy is going to change anytime soon either with the latest cast announcement. 'I am so excited to be a part of #RockHorror legacy', the 'Orange Is The New Black' star told her followers on Twitter, adding the adorable hashtag #DontDreamItBeIt in reference to the refrain from the original 1975 movie.

A Twitter user described Serena Williams as being ‘built like a man’ and ‘Harry Potter’ author J.K. Rowling immediately jumped to William’s defence.

J.K. Rowling is one of those magical sort of people who will always stand up to a bully and she’s frequently made a point of using social media as a tool to stop cyber bullies from continuing to spread hate. Today, after Serena Williams won the Women’s Singles Championship at Wimbledon, one Twitter user criticised Williams’ appearance and Rowling had something to say about it.

Elle Reid may be tough, but she's struggling coping with a recent break-up with her girlfriend. She's pregnant and Elle's financial situation isn't at its best, but she's determined to do everything she can to help her granddaughter. She takes her on a roadtrip to recover cash from Sage's ex-boyfriend - and while her method of extracting money could be more polite, Sage is glad of her company when she manages to obtain it. Elle gives Sage a lesson in tough-talking as she continues to tour the country selling her possessions and begging cash of some old friends. When the pair arrive to see Sage's mom, it's another story; she's a high-flying business woman and the complete opposite of her mother and daughter - and it's clear to see why Sage chose Elle to help her out.

Laverne Cox Will Be The First Transgender Person To Receive A Madame Tussauds Wax Figure

The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star has said she is ‘deeply honoured’ to be featured by the wax museum.

‘Orange is the New Black’ actress Laverne Cox has been announced as the first transgender person to be immortalised with a Madame Tussauds’ wax figure. Cox’s figure will be displayed in Tussauds’ San Francisco museum and will be unveiled later this month to coincide with the city’s Pride Festival.

Laverne Cox will soon be a part of Madam Tussauds.

“I am so deeply honoured to have been asked to be part of the Madame Tussauds legacy,” Cox said in a statement. “When I think about being who I am, a black trans woman from a working class background raised in Mobile, Alabama, this honour feels even more improbable and extraordinary.”

Instead, she offers to drive her around on a long road trip to recover cash from various friends and ex-boyfriends; though it's not only cash they find on the way. Numerous secrets are uncovered and old conflict is resurfaced, and Sage is forced to face responsibility and start becoming an adult. At the same time, Elle knows it's time for her to start thinking about the most important things in life, accept the troubles of her past and stop living under the 'tough woman' guise.
