Yes - the 'Ross from Friends' guy suspected of theft has returned to the news!
One of the most brilliantly bizarre viral news stories of 2018 has made a re-emergence, with news that the ‘Ross from Friends’ look-alike charged with theft has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to attend court.
So, if you don’t remember this from the first time around: an appeal by Lancashire Police over social media went viral three months ago after they posted an image of a man they suspected of committing theft leaving a restaurant in Blackpool, and then later leaving a corner shop holding a case of beer. Immediately, Twitter users pointed out the likeness to David Schwimmer's character Ross Geller in the popular American sitcom ‘Friends’.
Even better, choosing to respond to all the jokes posted online, Schwimmer himself posted a video showing him glancing at a camera as he walked through a convenience store clutching cans of beer.

Lancashire constabulary posted a CCTV picture on Facebook of a suspect who bears a striking resemblance to Ross from 'Friends' - cue internet hilarity!
Police in Blackpool have been deluged with snarky social media comments after they put out an appeal for an alleged thief who resembled ‘Friends’ star David Schwimmer.
Authorities posted a picture on Facebook of a suspect they wanted information on, showing the individual leaving a restaurant holding what looks like a crate of cans.
Noticing that the man bore a striking likeness to American actor Schwimmer, who played the character Ross in legendary Nineties sitcom ‘Friends’, people quickly piled in below the line to crack jokes about it.

A great TV mystery has finally been solved, as the man who was known to millions of ‘Friends’ viewers as Ugly Naked Guy has finally revealed himself (no, not in that way). After a year long search, Todd Van Luling from The Huffington Post tracked down the man whose face we never saw and confirmed his identity as actor Jon Haugen.

Former 'Friends' Star David Schwimmer Set For New Channel 4 Sitcom

He'll be returning in 2016 in the new British sitcom 'Morning Has Broken', about a failing daytime TV show.
British fans of ‘Friends’ trying to get their heads round the fact that their beloved sitcom ended over 10 years ago will be pleased to hear that David Schwimmer will be returning to Channel 4 for a new comedy series in 2016.
Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller in ten series of ‘Friends’ between 1994 and 2004, will be starring in a six-part series called ‘Morning Has Broken’. Created by Julia Davis, he’ll be playing the part of an American TV producer brought in to rescue a failing British daytime TV show that features Gail Sinclair, a self-styled ‘queen of daytime’ played by Davis herself.

‘Friends’ Set To Be Rebuilt In London For Festival Celebrating Sitcom

Over a decade since it ended ‘Friends’ is still as popular as ever.
London-based ‘Friends’ fans are in for a special treat next month as four-day festival celebrating the sitcom hits the capital. 'FriendsFest', which will take place at Brick Lane’s Boiler House will run from Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th September and include original props and replica sets from the series.
The festival will feature a full scale replica of Monica’s apartment as well as a Central Perk themed cafe which will include its very own orange sofa for fans to get their groups photos on. There will also be a pop-up hair salon were you can go right back to the 90s with a Rachel Green inspired blow-dry
