Kim Kardashian Sorry For Calling Indian Food 'Disgusting'
Kim Kardashian has apologized for calling Indian food "disgusting" during Sunday evening's episode of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' (May 27, 2012). The reality star, 31, drew criticism on Twitter for the remarks, with one user writing, "I think it's good Kim Kardashian doesn't like Indian food, because that means she won't ever visit India and that in itself is a blessing".
On Tuesday, Kim took to her blog to apologize and clear up the misunderstanding, telling fans, "In NO way was [my comment] intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste", adding, "There are a lot of foods I don't like . . . I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn't reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture". Kardashian added that her comments "wasn't intended to offend anybody", before signing off with, "We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine",
Reports this week suggest Kardashian is ready to move in with her boyfriend Kanye West, despite still in the process of divorcing from ex-husband Kris Humphries. The couple split just 72 days after their lavish wedding Montecito, California.
