Blackpool born singer Karima Francis releases her 'Glory Days' single on August 6th 2012 on Mercury Records. The single is taken from her upcoming album 'The Remedy' out August 13th 2012 and was produced by Flood (U2, PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode).

The single is the latest to encapsulate a rediscovered sense of courage and the feeling of finding light at the end of the tunnel. It has an upbeat liveliness to it with the video being filmed on a cliff edge suggesting a variety of connotations; freedom, danger, finality. Lyrically, it can be perceived as a sad song but really it's about carrying on when you feel your worst and accepting life as it comes. A strong testament to Karima's own troubled life.

Karima has been greeted with nothing short of enthusiasm from various publications; The Sunday Times Culture described her album as 'beautiful, brave and raw.' Her first single from the 'The Remedy', 'Wherever I Go', received extremely positive reviews as it touched the hearts of music writers throughout the country. It certainly made us glad she returned to music after going through some hard times in her life following her 2009 debut album 'The Author'.
