'Sad', due for release on July 16th, is the second single to be released from the mash-up project of Australian dance duo PNAU and Elton John. The new single to be released from the collaborative album Good Morning To The Night is set to be released on the same day as the album and maintains the same impressive reimagining of Elton's work as previous single, the titular 'Good Morning To The Night'.

Including elements from a number of Elton John originals ('Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word', 'Crazy Water' and 'Curtains' to name but a few), the new album comes a long way from the days when the Aussie duo were sound tracking their own super 8 movies in a shed in band member Nick Littlemore's back garden. The duo makes each track they use sound brand new and do what must have been thought was impossible by electronic music critics, they turn the works of a great artist into something that a whole new generation can appreciate, enjoy and listen to without being taunted by their unenlightened friends.

As already stated, the song and album are due for release on July 16th, and serves as a perfect go between for both fans of Elton John's music and electronic music. You can also read the interview we did with Pnau's Peter Mayes on the site.
