Nottingham-born country rock singer Jake Bugg releases his new EP 'Taste It' on August 18th 2012 through Mercury Records (Bon Jovi, Elton John, Johnny Cash, Taylor Swift, Rihanna).

He has released the title track as a single with an accompanying video featuring the 18-year-old rising star and his band strumming out the already well-received tune. It's another authentic sounding country song thanks to Bugg's classic gritty vocal inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. It's the sort of track that melts easily into the pop culture with his upbeat, toe-tapping guitar riffs and timeless lyrics that feel as though they've been written by someone much older.

After appearing on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury in 2011, Jake has received immense support particularly from Radio 1. His recent single 'Lightening Bolt' received Record of the Week four times from four different radio presenters and 'Taste It' earned him the Hottest Record in the World by Zane Lowe twice. His debut self-titled album is currently in production and will hit the shelves this October (2012). He told Contactmusic.com in a recent interview that he was excited and looking forward to even hold his upcoming first album in his hands.
