Billy Vincent is soon to release their single 'Dead Man's Shoes' on August 20th 2012. The track is the second single to be taken from their debut album 'She' which was released back in May this year.

The counterpart video is rich with abstract artistry, featuring a ravenous woman devouring a plate full of rose petals that appears to eventually poison her. The track itself is equally as inventively composed with a strong classic country tune melted into a very British indie genre and powerful, concept loaded lyricism filled with metaphor and pun. It features the guest appearance of English pedal steel guitarist B.J. Cole who adds a touch of character and colour to this contemporary experimental sound.

After being placed at number one on the Evening Standard's 'Must See This Summer' list, Billy Vincent (who are Billy Barrett and David Vincent on vocals/ guitar, Joseph Kinsey on bass/ harmonica, Matt Woodward on the fiddle and Jack Blenkinsop on drums) have already played a fantastic headline show at Club NME in London's Koko towards the end of July in celebration of the new single. Another publication to have decisively positive reviews is Q magazine in which Paul Moody described them as 'conjuring up visions of a debauched Mumfords'.
