TV Land has pulled the plug on the series, which premiered in 2010.

TV Land has announced that sitcom ‘Hot in Cleveland’ will end its run after finishing its sixth season. The comedy which starred former ‘Golden Girl’ Betty White along with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendy Malick was the channel’s first original scripted comedy.

The iconic show ran from 1985-92 and featured a group of elderly women sharing a house together in Miami, Florida. Rose Nylund was played by the incomparable Betty White, whils the late Bea Arthur played her best friend, Dorothy Zbornak. They were joined by Rue McClanahan as Blanche Devereaux and Estelle Getty as Sophia Petrillo, and were known across America for their love of cheesecake and heartwarming bond. The show lasted an impressive seven seasons, before it was ended when Bea Arthur announced she wished to leave the show. Nevertheless the show still has a cult following, and the last surviving Golden Girl, Betty White, is as big a part of American pop culture as ever, making frequent appearences in films and portraying the sassy caretaker Elka in TV Land's 'Hot in Cleveland'.

Betty White Did Not Die. But She Did Dye.

Betty White

Betty White is not dead. Quite the opposite.

Betty White is not dead - she is very much alive, and working, in-fact. Rumors of the veteran actress's death spread like wildfire across social media on Thursday (September 4, 2014) after some fans were duped by a satirical news story.

"Actress Betty White, 92, dyes peacefully in her Los Angeles home" read a headline published on the website Empire News. However, as suggested by the spelling, the story was a comedy article about White not being a natural blonde.

Is Betty White Spoofing Miley's 'Wrecking Ball' The Weirdest Video Of 2013?

By Michael West in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 22 October 2013

Betty White Miley Cyrus

is Betty White's Wrecking Ball video weirder than Nicolas Cage? Definitely not. It can't be. Nothing can.

Ok, so Nicolas Cage in Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball was pretty creepy. Really creepy. But now 91-year-old Golden Girls actress Betty White has climbed aboard.

Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball Video Has Over 250 Million Plays On YouTube

In a parody promo clip for her new hidden camera series Betty White's off Their Rockers - which recently found a home on Lifetime after being axed by NBC - the screen legend is seen riding a wrecking ball Miley style. But she's fully clothes. Thank god.

Happy Birthday Betty White! Golden Girl Turns 91

By Lorna Greville in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 18 January 2013

Betty White

Betty White is an inspiration. She turned 91 yesterday (17th Jan), and doesn't believe in retirement. She has been active in television and movies since 1939 (that's over seven decades) and is still going strong, plus she got a boa constrictor for her Birthday. What more could a woman beyond octogenarian-ism want?

She currently presents her own show 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers' and still appears in the comedy series 'Hot in Cleveland'. She's had two shows named after her, both called The Betty White Show, the first in 1954, and another in 1979, the first a talk show and the latter a sitcom. However, she's best known now for her role in The Golden Girls, which ran from 1985-92 playing a 'naïve senior citizen' named Rose.

Her infectious good humour seems to have kept her young. Last year she spoke to the Huffington Post about what it meant to be 90, she told them: "I'm having the time of my life and the fact that I'm still working -- how lucky can you get? I'm 90 years old and able to do what I do. That's a privilege."

What Took You So Long? NBC Announces Community's Return

By Michael West in Movies / TV / Theatre on 31 October 2012

Joel McHale Eva Longoria Betty White

NBC has finally announced February 7, 2013 as the premiere date for the fourth season of Community. The college set comedy - a hit with viewers and critics alike - will air on its traditional home of Thursdays, in a slot currently occupied by the departing 30 Rock, reports Entertainment Weekly.

It marks a topsy-turvy history for the show's fourth season, which was due to premiere on October 19 though was postponed. NBC said it had decided to focus on promoting other nights of its schedule, with Whitney also getting the temporary axe (incidentally, that will now debut on November 14, 2012 in place of the now-cancelled Animal Practice). The announcement was part of NBC's new scheduling details, which includes return dates for Smash (February 5), and Revolution (March 25) as well as premiere dates for the Eva Longoria-produced reality series Ready for Love (March 31). It looks set to be another big year for reality shows, with The Voice's new season set to hit on March 25, The Biggest Loser being readied for January 6 and The Celebrity Apprentice to premiere on March 3. Betty White's Off Their Rockers will debut January 8.

Notably changes to timeslots include Parks and Recreation now airing at 8.30pm from 7.30pm, starting January 17, 2013.

The Lorax Trailer

Ted is a young boy who lives in the perfect town: everything is clean and perfectly manufactured. Plastic flowers spring out of the ground when you go past and they come complete with mechanical, chirping birds. The one thing that the town doesn't have is trees, something that is completely alien to Ted but not to his crush, Audrey.

The Third Wish Review

By Christopher Null

Weak

Maggie Malone (Jenna Mattison) is the type of girl that exists only in the movies: She lives in San Francisco, works in a bookstore (where virtually no one ever shops), rides her bike everywhere (invariably downhill), has a cat and lots of candles, and is friends with the homeless guy who lives in the alley downstairs (he even watches her bike for free!). She's so quirky she shakes hands with a waiter at a fancy restaurant! That's darn quirky!

Maggie Malone's story, alas, is almost too cliched even to exist in the movies. One boring day at the shop (run by Betty White, pretty much the only remotely interesting part of the film), Maggie discovers an old copy of Great Expectations, and suddenly she finds herself being granted a series of wishes, courtesy of a young British guy (Sean Maguire) who says she has a secret benefactor, who apparently is loaded with cash. (Sound familiar?)
