"American Idol" Results: Contestants Can't Agree, Jennifer Lopez Is Shocked
By Victoria Pavlova in Movies / TV / Theatre on 02 May 2014
The contestants couldn't come to an agreement on this week's results night.
The results of this week’s American Idol might have shocked many people, but none more so than Jennifer Lopez. This warning might be redundant, but we’re giving it anyway – spoilers ahead.
With five contestants left, it was time for a slight rule change. Did the producers lift that idea from The Hunger Games? We may never know. Anyway, the new rules stated that the five remaining contestants were allowed to either axe the finalist with the lowest votes or keep him/her, but face a tougher contest next week.

This family adventure is back for another round of dolphin tales, which are – again – based on a true story.

Dolphin Tale 2 Trailer
'Dolphin Tale' saw Sawyer Nelson and Dr. Clay Haskett save the life of a beached dolphin named Winter who was so badly injured, she needed a special prosthetic fin fitted in order to survive. She was thus housed in the Clearwater Marine Hospital with a motherly dolphin named Panama. However, following Panama's tragic passing, Winter's future could look very lonely indeed unless the staff at the hospital can find her a new friend to share her life with; an action that is stringently required lest she is moved to another aquarium. That's where Hope comes in; an incredibly tiny dolphin who the Clearwater staff have shipped over to join Winter. The question is, is Winter's heartbreak over Panama's death too much to deal with in spite of new company?

American Idol Voting Recap: No One Saw That One Coming
By Victoria Pavlova in Movies / TV / Theatre on 11 April 2014
The latest Idol vote was met with disappointment from judges and fans.
Proceed with caution, spoilers below. Jennifer Lopez reminded us why she is everyone’s favorite American Idol judge during last night’s show. The singer broke out in tears after Malaya Watson owned the stage with Jennifer Hudson’s I Am Changing. The judges were unanimous on Malaya’s performance. Harry Connick Jr. called the teenager “a goldmine of talent.” J-Lo predicted Malaya would “run away with the title.” And yet, on Thursday night, Malaya Watson was voted off American Idol.

Jennifer Lopez Drops F-Bomb Whilst Judging 'American Idol' - Live!
By Elinor Cosgrave in Lifestyle / Showbiz on 28 March 2014
Jennifer Lopez, whilst critiquing a performance on Wednesday's 'American Idol', shocked - and amused - viewers by accidently dropping the F-bomb on live television.
Jennifer Lopez was evidently mortified on Wednesday evening after dropping the F-bomb on live TV. Lopez was judging American Idol and got carried away when commenting on one of the contestant's performances.
Then he and his fellow judges proceeded to whittle down the contestants to the final lineup, which includes the show’s very first openly gay participant in the outspoken MK Nobilette. Took them long enough. Anyway, here are some highlights from the night. Emily Piriz kicked things off behind the piano with "Stars" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, which earned her cheers from the audience, as well as judges Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez. Jillian Jensen, who might be familiar from her unsuccessful X Factor run, made it through auditions as well. Tuba player Malaya Watson provided some much needed quirkiness and also made the cut, as did Jess Meuse, beating Jesse Roach in a tense sing-off.
