Bill Clinton is introduced to speak at a Clinton Global Intiative event in New York City by Special Olympics athlete Deon Namiseb who talks about wanting to break the stigma that is put on those with intellectual disabilities. The former US President thanks Tom Golisano in his speech for sponsoring the initiative and giving away a total of $14 million in that last 30 years in upstate New York. 'In too many places they remain a profoundly marginalised and hard-to-reach population, often nearly invisible to people who should be trying to empower them', he explained in his speech. 'So I've been personally profoundly grateful to my friend Tom for championing the need for greater global cooperation on this issue.'
