Illusionist David Blaine meets and greets a variety of people as he prepares to begin his latest endurance stunt 'Electrified' in New York City. An official crosses the road with him to the venue but holds out an arm to stop him as a stream of cyclists come whizzing past. 'Get hit by a bike, that's all you need, right?' He half jokes. Blaine also gets to give his wife and young daughter a last hug before starting the feat and he immediately places his daughter on his shoulders and keeps her there for as long as possible.

He talks to a journalist about the possible risks he faces including the effects of sleep deprivation, blackouts from standing for a long length of time and fractures in his specially designed suit that might cause him to get shocked.
